Senior Administration Officer
The Anti- Female Genital Mutilation Board is a state corporation under the Ministry of Gender, Culture, The Arts and Heritage responsible for implementing the prohibition of Female Mutilation Genital Mutilation Act, 2011. The Board invites applications from qualified persons for the following vacant position(s):
Senior Administration Officer (AFGM 6)- Vacancy No. AFGM/11/2023 (1post)-Permanent and Pensionable
a. Duties and Responsibilities
i. Implementing administrative services policies, standards, regulations and
procedures;
ii. Liaising with the relevant legal entities to acquire legal documents such as motor
vehicle and assets insurances and licenses;
iii. Monitoring motor vehicle movements and assigning vehicles to drivers daily;
iv. Identifying and reporting on assets requiring repairs;
v. Coordinating general Office administrative services and security;
vi. Managing of contracts involving cleaning, maintenance and utility services
vii. Coordinating daily cleaning of offices and compound;
viii. Ensuring that office furniture and equipment are well arranged and maintained;
ix. Maintaining and filing work tickets;
x. Preparing reports on vehicle maintenance and fuel consumption;
xi. Implementing systems and procedures for disposal of old vehicles;
xii. Coordinating replacement and maintenance of office equipment; and
xiii. Processing and follow-up of payments of all bills for common services
b. Requirements for Appointment
i. Served in the grade of Administration Officer or a comparable position in a reputable
organization for a minimum period of four (4) years;
ii. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Public/Administration,
Management, Social Sciences or its equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution; and
iii. Proficiency in computer applications.
