Applications are invited for the above captioned position arising at our Mariakani Branch. This is an external advertisement seeking to recruit interested and qualified candidates who are encouraged to apply.

JOB SUMMARY

The Office Assistant maintains utmost cleanliness in all assigned areas and provides full time support to the other functions and operations the SACCO as directed or as may be required from time to time

Duties and Responsibilities

3.1.        Offers full time support to all departments as assigned to him/her on a day to day basis

3.2.        Arrange meeting venues in advance

3.3.        Do photocopies as may be required

3.4.        Prepare and serve staff and visitors tea

3.5.        Carry out office messenger duties, as may be required from time to time

3.6.        Take care of and routinely account for SACCO assets under his /her jurisdiction

3.7.        Undertake minor repairs and do timely reporting of the major ones as may be necessary to keep work equipment in good condition

3.8.        Assist members with information as may be necessary

3.9.        Undertake clerical duties as may be required from time to time

3.10. Ensure that Office Equipment, compound furniture, Fittings and files are cleaned

3.11. Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new items as needed.

3.12. Maintain the registry of the branch.

3.13.     Market and represent the SACCO competently and adequately in his/her capacity.

3.14.     Any other lawful duty as may be assigned.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

v  KCSE C-(Minus) and above

v  Professional-Certificate in computer applications

v  Experience-1 year

v  Any certificate from a recognised institution.

v  Certificate in accounting/business related course will be an added advantage.

v  Must have good communication skills, a pleasant personality, and positive attitude.
