Human Resource Management Officer
The Anti- Female Genital Mutilation Board is a state corporation under the Ministry of Gender, Culture, The Arts and Heritage responsible for implementing the prohibition of Female Mutilation Genital Mutilation Act, 2011. The Board invites applications from qualified persons for the following vacant position(s):
Human Resource Management Officer (AFGM 7)- Vacancy No. AFGM/12/2023 (1post)-Permanent and Pensionable
a. Duties and Responsibilities
i. Implementing human resource management decisions within existing rules,
regulations and procedures;
ii. Processing information relating to recruitment, promotion, leave, transfer and exit
documents;
iii. Preparing agenda for the human resource management advisory committee;
iv. Updating payroll and complement data;
v. Assisting in the assessment of training needs for all cadres of staff;
vi. Collating and compiling training applications;
vii. Collating staff performance appraisals;
viii. Updating the human resource information system; and
ix. Drafting routine correspondences.
b. Requirements for Appointment
i. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Human Resource
Management, Sociology, Economics, Public/Business Administration or any other
equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
ii. Proficiency in computer applications.
c. Essential skills and Competencies
i. Interpersonal skills.
ii. Management and organizational skills.
iii. Written and oral communication skills.
iv. Confidentiality
